Children's Book Festival 2008 - Irish History Live

Over 80 children attended Irish History Live presented by Michael Moylan. They were treated to a interactive history lesson about the First World War 1914 - 1918.

Summer Reading Challenge 2008

On Friday last, the 19th of September, Our Mayor Cllr. John Gilligan and City Librarian Dolores doyle were on hand to present certificates to all 85 children who entered our Summer Reading Challenge. There was also a draw for prizes, and prizes were also given to the best Book Reviews submitted over the summer.
