Watch House Cross Community Library Opens to the Public


The new, state of the art branch library at Watch House Cross was officially opened on Thursday 31st May 2007 by Mayor, Cllr. Joe Leddin and opens to the public from Tuesday 5th June.

This new branch library will serve the north side of Limerick City, especially the communities of Moyross, Ballynanty and Kileely.

A secluded corner of the
children’s library is ideally positioned for story-telling.
Included in the library is a PC Suite, which may be used
by groups or individuals with the latest in technology.
A Language Laboratory with a full range of European
languages is available for anyone wishing to learn a new
language or brush up on their existing language skills.
The Lending Area has a collection of musical CD’s to
suit all tastes, magazines both for adults and teenagers,
national and local daily newspapers, DVD’s, videos, talking
books, large print, together with a full range of fiction,
non-fiction and reference materials.
