Summer Reading Challenge 2008
On Friday last, the 19th of September, Our Mayor Cllr. John Gilligan and City Librarian Dolores doyle were on hand to present certificates to all 85 children who entered our Summer Reading Challenge. There was also a draw for prizes, and prizes were also given to the best Book Reviews submitted over the summer.

Comreg Open Day at WHC
Today ComReg (The Commission for Communications Regulation) held an Advice and Information Service in WHC Library.
ComReg staff were on hand all day to answer questions from the public about Consumer rights, Costing Options, and other vital information to help our members to resolve dispute with their communications service provider.
This service was launched by our Mayor Cllr. John Gilligan, City Librarian Dolores Doyle.
Two websites have also been launched to offer this advice to anyone who needs it.

Peregrine Falcon Screening in WHC Library
As of today Sean Lynch's much anticipated footage of the Peregrine Falcon's visit to Moyross, is being screened on the library floor.
Make sure you come in and see this fascinating film.
We have 30 copies of DVD to give away at the desk for Moyross residents who are interested. We will also be streaming the film from this blog, aswell as offering you the facility to download and burn your own copy of the DVD.
